- Prior to leaving for Australia the ADU tour members will have approximately six basketball training sessions and two practice games.
- All students home stay with an Australian family in pairs.
- The students will have two training sessions with two different high level coaches in Australia.
- On two days of the tour there will be two separate tournaments with three games per tournament. Prizes are awarded to the winning team of each division as well as to an All-star 5 for each division.
- Each member will receive an ADU tour t-shirt and uniform (singlet and shorts).
- The students will visit the following famous places (and many others):
* Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary (Has a large array of unique Australian animals.) Here they will receive a photo of themselves with a Koala.
* Mount Cootha (A mountain peak that offers a spectacular view of Brisbane and surrounding mountains and water.)
* Dreamworld (Australias largest theme park.)
* Underwater World (Queenslands largest Oceanarium and aquarium.)
* Surfers Paradise (One of the worlds most beautiful beaches.)
* Logan Hyperdome Shopping Centre (The largest one floor shopping centre in the Southern Hemisphere.)
- A Sayonara Party where all host families, tour staff and ADU members will enjoy a night of typical Australian food, dance and entertainment.
An example schedule is as follows (please note that the following is taken from the previous ADU tour and days and some minor changes are likely for upcoming tours):
Day 1
8.30am - Depart Ageo.
11.00am - Arrive at Narita Airport.
11.30am - Check in and lunch at Narita Airport.
2.00pm - Depart Narita Airport.
5.00pm - Arrive at Icheon International Airport (Korea).
8.00pm - Depart Icheon International Airport (Korea).
Day 2
7.00am - Arrive at Brisbane International Airport.
8.00am - Depart Airport and go to Mount Cootha and Botanical Gardens.
9.30am - Go to Lone Pine Sanctuary Koala Park (photo with Koalas and Kangaroos).
12.30pm - Go to Indooroopilly shopping centre for lunch and shopping.
2.00pm - Depart Indooroopilly.
3.00pm - Arrive at Logan Stadium (meeting point)
4.00pm - Meet home stay families.
Day 3
8.00am - Arrive at Beenleigh Stadium for training session with high level coach.
10.00am - Full day with home stay family.
Day 4
8.00am - Arrive at ( TBA ) Basketball Stadium for an all-day tournament consisting of three representative teams from South Queensland.
5.00pm - Go home with home stay families.
Day 5
9.00am - Clinic held by high Richard Orlick (Logan Thunder WNBL Head Coach).
11.30am - Depart for the Gold Coast (swimming at beach and shopping).
5.00pm - Go home with home stay families.
Day 6
9.00am - Tournament with three South-East Queensland schools teams.
6.00pm - Dinner at Lone Star Steakhouse with home stay families and local coaches.
8.30pm - Go home with home stay families.
Day 7
7.00am - Depart for the Sunshine Coast (visit Underwater World, Ginger Factory, Sunshine Coast Beach and have lunch in a Surf Lifesaving Club).
5.00pm - Return to Logan for a Sayonara Party.
9.30pm - Go home with home stay families.
Day 8
9.00am - Depart for a full day at Dreamworld.
5.30pm - Arrive at Beenleigh Stadium - Games vs. Beenleigh Blitz club team.
7.30pm - Go home with home stay families.
Day 9
6.30am - Arrive at Brisbane International Airport.
4.30pm - Arrive at Icheon International Airport (Korea).
5.30pm - Depart Icheon International Airport (Korea).
9.00pm - Arrive at Narita International Airport.
11.30pm - Arrive at Ageo
